The schedule for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifiers to be held in Zimbabwe from June 18 to July 9, 2023 has been announced after the 10 teams were confirmed.

Each match will compete for two spots in the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in India, giving nine guaranteed matches in cricket’s global ODI showcase.

The 10 teams participating in the qualifiers will be divided into two groups of five teams each. Hosts Zimbabwe, West Indies, Netherlands, Nepal and USA form Group A, while Group B includes Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland, Oman and United Arab Emirates.
Each side plays the other teams in their group once, with the top three from each group advancing to the Super Six. They will play against sides they have not met in the Super Six.
All points earned in the tournament will go into the Super Six, except for points scored against teams that did not qualify for the Super Six. The finalists will compete in the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
Queen’s Sports Club and Bulawayo Sports Club in Bulawayo, Harare Sports Club and Takashinga Cricket Club in Harare will share 34 matches, with Harare Sports Club hosting the final on July 9. The Old Hararians Cricket Club also hosts warm-up matches.

Hosts Zimbabwe will take on Nepal in the opening match at Harare Sports Club, aiming to qualify for the men’s Cricket World Cup for the first time. Two-time cricket world champions West Indies will also take on neighbors USA on June 18 at the Takashinga Cricket Club.
Group B kicks off on June 19 in Bulawayo with 1996 World Champions Sri Lanka hosting the United Arab Emirates at Queen’s Sports Club, while Oman will play at Ireland’s Bulawayo Sports Club in the second leg.
The Netherlands open their campaign against Zimbabwe on June 20 at Harare Sports Club, while Scotland take on rivals Ireland in Bulawayo on June 21 at Kulawayo Sports Club. The Super Six will begin on June 29 and the bottom two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.
For the first time in the tournament, DRS will be used in all matches starting from the Super Six round.
