The World Cup begins on October 5 with a repeat of the 2019 final when England take on New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

A total of 10 teams will take part in the inaugural event, the top eight of which have already qualified for the Cricket World Cup Super League. The final two places will be decided at the end of the Qualifying Tournament in Zimbabwe which ends on July 9.

The much-awaited India-Pakistan clash is scheduled for Saturday, October 14 in Ahmedabad. Their last encounter in the 2019 World Cup was fruitful with India claiming a big win in Manchester.
Pakistan will face Australia in Bengaluru on October 20, while England will play South Africa the following day in Mumbai.
India will take on New Zealand to try and avenge their 2019 semi-final defeat on October 22 at the beautiful Dharamsala Hall, while Australia will face their arch-rivals England on November 4 in Ahmedabad. The defending champions defeated the Australians to reach the final four years ago.
