Women Cricket World Cup 2023 – The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 was the eighth ICC Women’s T20 World Cup tournament. It was held in the Republic of South Africa from 10 to 26 February 2023.
South Africa automatically qualified for the tournament as hosts. They are joined by the seven highest-ranked teams in the T20I ICC Wom Rankings as of November 30, 2021, participating in the ICC Wom T20 World Cup 2020 in Australia.

In August 2022, the ICC announced that the matches would be played at three venues in three cities. The venues are Newlands Cricket Ground, St George’s Park and Boland Park.
On 27 January 2023, the ICC appointed the women’s panel of referees for the tournament. Along with the referees, GS Lakshmi, Chandre Fritz and Michel Pereira were also appointed as creation referees.

Before the T20 World Cup, the participating countries competed in warm-up matches from 6 February to 8 February 2023. These matches have neither Wom’s Twty20 International (WT20I) nor WT20 status.
