The retired Indian captain suffered a knee injury during IPL 2023. Despite this setback, the captain managed to overcome the pain and lead his franchise, Chennai Super Kings to yet another title. He underwent knee surgery at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. According to a PTI report, CSK CEO Kasi Vishvanathan told the news agency that Dhoni will take the call after receiving medical advice. The report came out even after he successfully performed the surgery.

The recovery will take so long that MS Dhoni plans to retire and intends to play in the next IPL season as well. But the recovery will be long and the franchise as a whole may be thinking of options or planning to retain him at a high price of 15 crores.

Fans of the Indian franchise and cricket in general will be waiting to see MS Dhoni in the next edition of IPL. Another concern in CSK is that the franchise is yet to decide on a successor to captain MS Dhoni. The franchise picked up Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, but relinquished the captaincy midway through the 2022 season.

There are rumors that youngster Ruturaj Gaikwad will be the next captain of the franchise, but nothing is official yet. Dhoni also looked in fine form as the captain played his role as a batsman to perfection.

MRS. Dhoni (born 7 July 1981, Ranchi, Bihar [now Jharkhand], India) is an Indian cricketer whose rise in the early 21st century culminated in his captaincy of the Indian team that won the 2011 Cricket World Cup.

Dhoni made his international debut in 2004. His talent with the bat first came to the fore in a 148-run innings against Pakistan in his fifth international match. The explosion of T20 cricket in the Indian subcontinent paved the way for the formation of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008. In the inaugural season of the league, Dhoni signed a contract with Chennai Super Kings for $1.5 million, which was the largest contract in the IPL at the time. that’s for two titles in a row (2010, 2011). In 2016, the Super Kings franchise received a two-season ban from the IRL for its role in the match-fixing scandal, and Dhoni later joined Rising Pune Supergiant. Mahendra Singh Dhoni has a new hairstyle and it has set the internet on fire. As soon as hairstylist Aalim Hakim – who styles MSD – shared the photo, netizens started reacting to it.

“So much fun creating this hairstyle with brand new textures and colors for Mahi bhai.. Sharing some pictures I clicked before he left for an ad shoot,” hairstylist Aalim Hakim wrote.

When netizens started expressing their feelings on social media, some said Mahi looked like the “John Abraham of Dhoom”, while some said he looked “very similar to Hrithik” and some opined that MSD is “perfect material for a Hollywood hero “. Some even compared her looks with Telugu actor Mahesh Babu.
