Next Cricket World Cup Venue – The International Cricket Council (ICC) ODI World Cup is one of the most anticipated events in the cricket calendar. Held every four years, the tournament brings together the best cricketing nations from around the world to compete for the prestigious title of World Champions.
The ICC World Cup 2023 is scheduled to be hosted on October 5, 2023 in India and will continue till November 19, 2023, but the excitement for the event is already building. This is the first time that India will host the tournament exclusively on its own soil. In the past, in 1987, 1996 and 2011, India organized the event in collaboration with neighboring countries Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The ICC Men’s Over 50 World Cup will have the same format as the World Cup 2019. There will be a total of 10 teams. 48 matches will be played. The top 8 teams from India, Pakistan, Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan and Bangladesh qualified for the tournament. The remaining 2 teams will be selected in the Super League World Cup matches. The tournament will be held in a round-robin format, where each team will play once against the other 9 teams. After the round, the top 4 teams will advance to the semi-finals, where the top two teams will advance to the finals.

10 teams are supposed to play in ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, these teams are India, England, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, West Indies and Afghanistan.
The matches will be played at multiple locations across the country such as Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Indore, Dharamsala, Guwahati, Rajkot, Raipur and Mumbai. Below is the list of stadiums for ICC Cricket World Cup 2023:
As far as the timings are concerned, the day/night matches start at 14:00 IST. While the daily matches will start at 10:30 AM IST. In total we have 6 daily matches and 42 D/N matches. India, England and South Africa are the only three teams that will not be playing one-dayers. While Bangladesh will play for three days in total.
Team India will begin their World Cup campaign on October 8 against eventual winners Australia in Chennai. Other big matches are against Pakistan in Ahmedabad (October 15), England in Lucknow (October 29) and South Africa in Kolkata (November 5). Apart from the above mentioned matches, Team India will also play 2 warm-up matches before the tournament. While India will play England on September 30 in Guwahati, they will play Qualifier 1 on October 3 in Trivandrum. Dallas, Miami and New York will host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2024, with the United States hosting the West Indies.

ST JOHN’S, ANTIGUA & LOS ALTOS, CALIFORNIA – Cricket West Indies (CWI) and USA Cricket joined today to celebrate the selection of both organizations as joint winners of the bids to host the 2024 International Cricket Council (ICC) Men’s T20 World Cup The world governing body confirmed the details on Tuesday, with the historic announcement marking a major change for the sport in the US region, which will act as co-host for the ninth edition of the event.
This is the fourth time that the West Indies will host a World Cup event on behalf of the ICC, and the first time that a major ICC event has come to the United States. The 2024 edition will be the first T20 World Cup to feature 20 teams. Expanding on the ICC’s global events announced earlier in the year, 20 nations will compete in 4 groups in the 55-match tournament, which will last 25 days and start in June 2024.

The T20 World Cup, which they are co-hosting, will see around two-thirds of the 55 matches played in the Caribbean, with World Cup venues chosen from 13 established international cricket grounds in the West Indies.
