Afghanistan begin their campaign against Bangladesh on October 7 in Dharamshala. They play their second match against hosts and two-time world champions India on October 11 in Delhi. Afghanistan will face Pakistan in their fifth match on October 23 in Chennai. The Proteas’ third match is against Qualifier 1 in Dharamshala. South Africa’s fourth match will be against world champions England on October 21 in Mumbai. South Africa’s final five matches are against Bangladesh (October 24 in Mumbai), Pakistan (October 27 in Chennai), New Zealand (November 1 in Pune), Mighty India (November 5 in Kolkata) and Afghanistan on November 10 in Ahmedabad.
In their first match on October 7, Bangladesh face Afghanistan in Dharamsala. On October 10, the Tigers will face England in Dharamsala. New Zealand will begin their 2023 World Cup campaign against defending champions England in Ahmedabad. After their match against Qualifier 1 on October 9 in Hyderabad, the Kiwis will play a couple of games in Chennai (October 14) against Bangladesh and Afghanistan in Dharamsala (October 18). Before playing trans-Tasman rivals Australia (October 28, Dharamsala), they will face hosts India on October 22 in Dharamsala. The Blackcaps conclude the league stage with two matches against Pakistan and Qualifier 2 in Bengaluru on November 4 and 9 respectively after playing South Africa in Pune on November 1.

England then travel north again to play India in Lucknow on 29 October before returning to Ahmedabad to face Australia on 4 November. Their final two matches are against Qualifier 1 in Pune on November 8 and then against Pakistan on November 12 in Kolkata.
Pakistan will open their ODI World Cup 2023 campaign against a qualifier on October 6 in Hyderabad. In their second match, the 1992 World Cup winners will face another qualifier on October 12 in Hyderabad. Pakistan’s third match is against India on October 15 in Ahmedabad. In the fourth match, Babar Azam & Co. face Australia in Bengaluru on October 20 .Pakistan’s last five matches are against Afghanistan (October 23 in Chennai), South Africa (October 27 in Chennai), Bangladesh (October 31 in Kolkata ), New Zealand (November 4 in Bengaluru) and England (November 12 in Kolkata)

A total of 10 venues: Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pune, Dharamsala, Lucknow will host matches over the six-and-a-half weeks. In total, the tournament will include 48 matches played over 46 days.
