Sachin completed his fifty off Ravindra Jadeja’s deep square leg in the first ball of the 14th over. His maiden fifty came off 43 balls, but once he crossed the milestone, Sachin pressed the accelerator and scored the remaining 50 runs in just 23 balls to reach his maiden T20 and IPL century.
The last ball of the 20th century brought a dramatic century as Sachin raised the bat and filled the atmosphere at the Wankhede Stadium.
