The Bears responded with great plays from Fields. At first, He escaped pressure on third-and-5 and found Byron Pringle on first down. Then, fielding deep into the red zone, Fields somehow avoided further pressure after Isaiah Buggs failed to bring him down. He ran into the end zone for the score with 12 seconds left in the half. Volume 10-10.

The defense of the “Lions” played well. Aidan Hutchinson was everywhere, making Fields hesitate and forcing the ball over the top. It fell into the hands of Jeff Okuda for a pick-six, tying the score at 24-24.

However, Detroit couldn’t keep up in the shootout and went on a quick three-pointer with eight minutes left to go back to Chicago.

Next, Chicago allowed a 40-yard punt return on a game-tying opportunity. But the Lions defense quickly passed the ball on their own three-and-out.

Goff returned the ball with 5:23 left at their 9-yard line.
