Each match will be high-stakes, with the teams vying for two spots in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 in India giving them nine guaranteed matches at cricket’s global showcase.
The 10 teams participating in the qualifiers are divided into two groups of five teams. Hosts Zimbabwe, West Indies, Netherlands, Nepal and the United States make up Group A, while Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland, Oman and the United Arab Emirates make up Group B.
Each team will play the other teams in their group once and the top three from each group will advance to the Super Six stage. In the Super Six they will play the sides they did not face in the group stage.
All points scored in the group stage will carry over to the Super Six stage except those scored against teams that did not qualify for the Super Six stage. The finalists will both progress to the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
