It took 400 people nearly two months to set up the attraction, which consists of 30 different types of flowers, including petunias, geraniums and marigolds. The Miracle Garden closes for four months of the year when it’s too hot to keep flowers in Dubai. But when the garden is open, it relies on eco-friendly irrigation systems to stay green.
The warm weather break gives the Miracle Garden staff time to plan next year’s top designs. It may seem impossible to top a jumbo jet draped in flowers, but you can be sure that next year’s attractions will be just as amazing.

Anniversary of the first Disney character, Dubai’s Miracle Garden built the world’s largest Mickey Mouse floral sculpture, which was unveiled on Sunday.
The sculpture, which is the first Disney character depicted in the Middle East, is 18 meters tall and is made of almost 100,000 plants and flowers, weighing 35 tons. Through this, the Dubai Miracle Garden has earned the Guinness World Record title for Tallest Topiary Supported Sculpture.
As part of a new licensing agreement between Dubai Miracle Garden and The Walt Disney Company, six more Disney characters will be installed in the garden in November when it reopens for the winter season.
Eng. Abdel Nasser Rahal, creator and co-founder of Dubai Miracle Garden and vice chairman of Cityland Group, said the supported sculpture was the result of 45 days of work for 100 workers, designers and engineers.

It contains nearly 100,000 plants and flowers (including white petunia, red petunia, white geranium, yellow viola, zinnia marigold and green alternanthera), and is supported by a 7-tonne steel structure with a 50-tonne reinforced concrete base. .

“Mickey Mouse is one of the world’s most beloved characters and we are proud to celebrate a unique touch point at Dubai Miracle Gardens with UAE residents and visitors and enable them to connect with Disney and our characters,” he said.
The Mickey Mouse flower statue is the third record holder in the Dubai Miracle Garden. The garden holds two more Guinness World Records titles, recognized as the “World’s Largest Vertical Garden” and for the “Largest Floral Installation” with an Emirates A380 display.

Dubai Miracle Garden is open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on weekdays and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Regular admission is Dh45 for adults and Dh35 per head for children (ages 3-12).
