Virat Kohli surpassed fellow Indian Sachin Tendulkar’s record for most international centuries after reaching his 49th ton in the form.

Kohli hit a first-ball 119 against South Africa in Kolkata at the Cricket World Cup on Sunday, the day he made 35 and in a match that saw his team score 243 runs after skidding their opponents for 83 in a row.

India have won eight World Cup matches so far, beating Australia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand, England, Sri Lanka and now South Africa.
