Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers were the batsmen in the Super Over against Mumbai Indians as Royal Challengers Bangalore won the match in thrilling fashion.
The IPL 2020 clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians saw a refreshing encounter between Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. AB de Villiers blasted aggressive fifties and superb knocks from Devdutt Padikkal and Shivam Dube helped Royal Challengers Bangalore to 201/3. In reply, Ishan Kishan’s brilliant knocks of 99 and 119 stood out with Kieron Pollard hitting 60 off 24 balls to help Mumbai Indians level the scores. In the Super Over, Mumbai Indians scored just seven runs and Royal Challengers Bangalore chased down the target in the last ball.

In the Super Over, Saini restricted the likes of Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya to just seven runs as Royal Challengers Bangalore progressed.
Kohli heaped praise on Saini for her outstanding skills. “The Super Over was amazing from him (Saini). He used yorkers and wide balls well. That would improve us going forward,” Kohli said. However, the biggest compliment was AB de Villiers, who fought Jasprit Bumrah brilliantly and I hope Kohli is like ABD.
“I wish I was AB to be honest (laughs). He came after a long break. The way he batted and some shots were excellent. He stuck with the bowlers and only he can give the best. He kept it simple and didn’t watch too much cricket . He’s enjoyed his life and he’s come out here, backed his skills. He’s rested and that’s what he wants,” Kohli said.
