The opening ceremony on March 31 will begin at 6:00 p.m. and last about 45 minutes.
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM and will be broadcast LIVE on Star Sports.

IPL 2023 matches will be spread across 12 venues namely Mohali, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Mumbai, Guwahati and Dharamsala.
Ipl Final Stadium Name
After four years, the tournament will resume its regular home-and-away schedule in India, with each star playing a total of 14 matches. Each team will have home fans playing in their respective stadium for seven matches, while they will play away from home for the other seven matches.
Two matches will be played each day at the tournament stage. The day match will be played at 15:30 IST and the night match will start at 19:00 IST.
The first match of IPL 2023 will be played between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Chennai Super Kings.
Chennai Super Kings, who have won four IPL titles, are led by MS Dhoni, who took Indian cricket to new heights of success in the late 2000s to early 2010s.

The milestone was achieved for the highest attendance for a T20 match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
“It’s a proud moment for everyone when India sets the Guinness Book of World Records. This is a moment for all our fans for their unparalleled passion and unwavering support of their hiatus. Congratulations to @GCAMotera and @IPL,” the BCCI tweeted.
BCCI Secretary Jay Shah also shared the achievement and wrote, “Extremely happy and proud to have bagged the Guinness Book of Records for the highest attendance for a T20 match as 101,566 people witnessed the final. An epic @IPL at the magnificent Narendra Modi Stadium @GCAMotera on 29th May 2022. Big thanks to our fans for making it happen! @BCCI.”

Motera Stadium was built in 1982 and renovated in 2021. On 29 May 2022, the stadium hosted the second qualifying round as well as the final of the 15th season of the IPL.
Spread over 63 hectares, the stadium was built at an estimated cost of Rs 800 crore and has a capacity of 1,32,000, surpassing the hallowed Melbourne Cricket Ground which has a capacity of 90,000.
“The total area is equivalent to 32 Olympic-sized football fields combined,” the Press Information Bureau said in a statement detailing the giant structure.
